Huge congrats to our team members Tracey and Ashmita for winning a place on the Oxford Foundry’s L.E.V8 Women’s 2019 programme for Go_Girl this summer, which is aimed at developing female-led early-stage startups! The knowledge gained from the immersive workshops and 1:1 mentoring will prepare Tracey and Ashmita to further develop the reach and impact of Go_Girl, with the potential to set up a social enterprise. We are very thrilled that Tracey and Ashmita are embarking on this inspiring programme and look forward to seeing where this exciting journey will lead!
At a glancego_girl: code+create is a project at the Department of Education, University of Oxford, run in partnership with the Oxfordshire County Council's Early Intervention Service. In line with Oxford’s targets in its Access Agreement with the Office for Fair Access, this interdisciplinary project complements existing programmes aimed at widening access to the University of Oxford, but tackles the problem in a fundamentally new way using technology. The research was originally supported by the University of Oxford IT Innovation Challenges Seed Fund and has received subsequent funding from Goldman Sachs Gives.
